Are you looking to control a insect class combat robot or small RC robotics project? This motor driver is perfect for your needs. Our DESC is designed to handle the rigors of combat while maintaining a tiny footprint that is unrivaled.

This version of the DESC comes with servo connectors so you can easily attach your own receiver.  For the version that has the attached Lemon-Rx Click Here

Features

  • Bi-directional control of 2 DC motors @ 2.0 amps continous, 3.6 amps max with braking
  • 6.5v to 16.8v voltage range
  • compact size (0.25" x 0.750" x 1.230")
  • Lightweight at ~6 grams
  • Undervoltage, overcurrent, and overtemp protection
  • Simple calibration routine
  • Onboard 1:1 mixing option*

  • *mixing is now selected by entering and exiting calibration mode so you no longer need to pick which mode you want.

    Example:

  • Mixing is enabled --> Enter and exit calibration mode --> Mixing Disabled
  • Mixing is disabled --> Enter and exit calibration mode --> Mixing Enabled
  •

The Endbots DESC has a 5 volt regulator that can be used to power other devices such as receivers, and other speed controllers. The voltage used depends on the current available.

  • 2s Lipo (~500mah current draw)
  • 3s Lipo (~250mah current draw)
  • 4s Lipo (~100mah current draw)

  • If the blue light on the DESC flickers when you draw current on the 5 volt regulator, then too much current is being drawn and you either need to reduce your battery voltage or use an external BEC to power it.

Note: Most servos even small ones may draw too much current for the DESC to handle. We highly recommend getting an external BEC if you plan on using a servo.

Warning: This product can get hot enough to burn you. Take care when handling this product.

If you have questions relating to the DESC you can ask them in our forum here.

Known Issues: On board mixing is a little off at the extents of travel this is due to the method of calibration and does not normally affect driving. A few clicks on the trim may be needed to adjust the mix.
